I am delighted to say that Dawson Hart is, once again, taking part in the St Peter and St James’ Will Writing Event. Many of you will know what an inspiring place the Hospice, located in North Chailey, is. The Scheme encourages supporters to visit us and make a Will. We make no charge at all for preparing the Will but ask that, instead, you make a donation to the Hospice. The amount of the donation is entirely up to you, but suggested minimum levels are £150 for joint Wills, £110 for a single Will and £75 for a Codicil. However, anything you can give, whether great or small, will be gratefully received by the Hospice.

The Scheme has the twin advantages of encouraging supporters to get that all important Will prepared and also raises valuable funds for a fantastic cause.

Having a Will makes the process of obtaining Probate and administering the estate less traumatic than if you die without a Will (intestate). We will discuss your wishes concerning your executors and beneficiaries, as well as considering your Inheritance Tax Liability. Wills are also useful to indicate your funeral wishes and appoint guardians of your young children.

Go to www.stpeter-stjames.org.uk to find out more about the Hospice and the wonderful work it does.

To take part in the Scheme, just call us on 01825 762281 at any time before 9th March 2013 to make an appointment – but hurry, there is limited availability and appointments are given on a first come, first served basis.
