PENSION AUTO ENROLMENT IN THE WORKPLACE &
EMPLOYMENT LAW UPDATE AND PROPOSALS FOR CHANGE
WEDNESDAY 21ST NOVEMBER 2012
Following the well publicised fact that people are not saving enough to fund their retirement, the Government has introduced new legislation requiring employers to automatically enrol their workers into a pension scheme if they are not already in one. This will be a major change for employers. Auto-enrolment will be phased in over the next year.
Dawson Hart have teamed up with Horlock Holdcroft, Financial Consultants, to provide an overview of how this will affect your business and to give advice on how to make this a painless transition.2012 has certainly been a time of constant change and much speculation in Employment Law. Victoria Regan, Head of Employment at Dawson Hart, shall provide an update of major legislative changes and caselaw and will consider further the proposals for change that are currently in the pipeline.
