CHARITY EASTER EGG HUNT - GOOD FRIDAY 2017 - ST WILFRID'S HOSPICE

It just wouldn’t be Easter without Dawson Harts Solicitor’s Easter Egg Hunt which took place on Good Friday 2017.

This year the Easter Bunny was joined by Wilfy the bear who made lots of children smile whilst raising money for St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Eastbourne. Everyone was able to enjoy the sunshine at the Uckfield Rugby Club and the children enjoyed a variety of games, a bouncy castle, balloon making, face-painting and some of the dads were even seen making pop up puppets!

Laura Manton, Director at Dawson Hart said “We have been long standing supporters of St Wilfrid’s and often take part in their Will making scheme. This year it means even more to us. Victoria Regan, a Director at Dawson Hart lost her father last year. He was looked after by the hospice which he co-founded back in 1981.”

“Yet again we have been overwhelmed with the support we have received from local businesses especially AllSorts and Bishops Butchers in the High Street Uckfield. Knockhatch, Ashdown Llama Park, Freedom Leisure, Funabounds and other local attractions donated tickets to our tombola – so a huge thank you to them for helping us make the childrens’ tombola a success”

“With the help of a great fundraising team at Dawson Hart and their families we were able to raise £860 on the day. Thank you to everyone who came along to support us.”

So if you want to join in the fun next year please make a note in your diary for Friday 30th March 2018! Click here for more information on the event.
