We are proud to announce that Laura Lineker qualified as a Solicitor in July. Laura works in our busy Residential Property Department dealing with sales, purchases and mortgages.
We asked Laura how she feels on becoming a lawyer
“For as long as I can remember I have wanted to become a lawyer. I loved the idea of helping people resolve their issues and I also thought that I would get to wear a wig and gown at all times!
Of course, the reality of the profession is very different to what I had envisaged as a naive teenager and I quickly realised that wearing a wig and gown wasn’t for me after all and that I preferred a more client facing role. This is where my journey to becoming a solicitor started and I haven’t looked back.
Before joining Dawson Hart in 2016 as a Legal Assistant, I worked in family law and whilst I did enjoy my role, it was not my passion. After joining Dawson Hart in the Residential Property Department, I soon realised that this area of law was for me.
I have worked my way up from Legal Assistant to Paralegal to Legal Executive to Solicitor over the course of five years and I am now enjoying life as a newly qualified solicitor.
I particularly like helping people move into their new homes and making it as least stressful as possible! “
Don’t just take Laura’s word for it though, read some of Laura’s exceptional testimonials: -

We wish Laura every success in her career
