Uckfield Business Awards - November 2016

We are delighted to announce that Jacqueline Hardaway, our Managing Director, won the Business Woman of the Year award at the Uckfield Business Awards which took place at the East Sussex National on Thursday 10th November.

The awards were organised by the Uckfield Chamber of commerce in association with Uckfield FM and there were over 300 people who attended the gala dinner.

Jacqueline Hardaway is a very deserving winner of the award which was sponsored by Swindells accountants.

Jacqueline is the managing director of Dawson Hart Solicitors and she provides inspiration and leadership to a team of over 40 lawyers and support staff.

She is passionate about providing clients with the very best in legal services and has great vision for the future of Dawson Hart and embraces change openly and with enthusiasm.  She is also very inclusive, encouraging staff and clients alike to suggest ways to improve the client experience, which she then ensures are implemented, such as the client loyalty scheme and the monthly free advice open mornings.

However, it does not end there. Jacqueline’s area of legal expertise over the past 20 years has been personal injury.  She is passionate about helping people who have suffered catastrophic injuries and her recent work has included successfully winning an award of damages for family members who suffered psychiatric injuries following the death of their son/brother which was featured on the BBC news and in the House of Commons.  She is currently dealing with a serious injury case in the High Court, which has become a precedent for other claimant lawyers.

The staff at Dawson Hart say that she has helped them to achieve their goals and has shown great kindness in times of need.  Her clients tell us that she goes the extra mile for them and provides an invaluable level of support and commitment.

We are delighted that the all of Jacqueline’s efforts have been celebrated by the local business community.
