Marketing Assistant

Job Type: Full time, Office based

Award Winning Legal Professional Services Firm in Uckfield, East Sussex, seeks a bright, enthusiastic, creative and confident marketing/business/law graduate looking to take their first steps into the legal professional services sector.  We will also consider candidates who may have already gained or had experience in a marketing/customer service role.

The role holder will provide marketing support on a range of marketing and business development activities.  This role would suit a candidate who has the potential to develop and the willingness to excel.  Further, the role holder will also have full exposure to our clients and contacts, meeting and greeting them and assisting in the hosting of networking events.

You will be in a varied role supporting the Business Development Director with duties to include: -

  • Implementing and coordinating social media campaigns
  • Design and creating marketing material, such as adverts, social media posts, flyers and leaflets
  • Assisting, attending and organising firm events such as hospitality, award ceremonies, exhibitions, sponsorship.
  • Updating and maintaining information for our website, podcasts and blogs.
  • Measuring client satisfaction.
  • Organising marketing supplies and updating the marketing budget.
  • Front facing customer service role on reception.

You will need excellent IT skills and be able to use design software to create adverts and develop and maintain our social media channels.  You will have a genuine passion for marketing, possess excellent communication skills, be creative and organised, with a flexible, “can do” attitude.

Trainees

We like to spend time with our trainees because we are training you to be the future of Dawson Hart.

We feel it is valuable that our trainees work in a number of different practice areas before they qualify, to ensure their training is diverse and enables individuals to perfect a wide range of skills

Furthermore, we aim to offer all our trainees a career with us upon qualification and progress them through the stages of development to Associate and Partnership level.  For that reason, we limit the number of training/SQE contracts we offer, so that we can spend valuable time with each trainee.

Work Experience

We enjoy the opportunity of being able to offer students work experience.  We enjoy introducing them to office life and the law and to encourage them in their future careers and experiences.  We are pleased that some of our students have returned to us as trainee solicitors, having enjoyed their introduction to Dawson Hart as work experience students.
