£525 raised for Sussex Support Service

On Saturday 26th June 2021 a team from Dawson Hart took part in the “Color Obstacle Rush” at Brighton Racecourse to raise money for our Charity of the Year, Sussex Support Services.

The participants ran a 5k obstacle race whilst being powder painted! There was some adaptations due to covid including taking part socially distanced whilst wearing masks but with so many charities in much need of help and support at the moment we are very glad the event was able to go ahead.

Unfortunately, the Covid restrictions meant we had to wait over a year to complete the run which was due to take place last year.  We are happy to report it was worth the wait.   The weather was warm and sunny too. The participants completed the warm- up and then had a great time having powder paint thrown at them whilst wading through bubbles, falling over many times, and floundering around trying to get through the obstacles.  The best way to describe it is to think soft play for adults.  As many of us are working from home, it was extra special to actually catch up with colleagues face to face.  As you can see from the pictures, we all had a great time and are very pleased to announce, to date, we have raised £525 for Sussex Support Services.

Our next event is the 10K Beachy Head race. We would welcome your help in raising money for Sussex Support Service so please watch our website for more upcoming news and how to support us.
