On Friday 9th October, we held our annual Barn Dance and wow, what a night it was! With fantastic food, magnificent music, and an amazing atmosphere, it was a fabulous night! The event was an incredible success, with us raising over £2,700 for The Friends of Eastbourne Hospital!
Held at the Cinque Ports, the night included music - live from the Catsfield Steamers, a barbecue, and a fantastic raffle – of which some of the prizes included: a wheelbarrow of drinks, tickets to see Brighton vs Bournemouth in the 1901 Club, cinema tickets at The Picture House Uckfield, a months free access for the gym at Freedom Leisure, a hamper from Tesco, a full afternoon tea at Horsted Place, and various vouchers at other lovely local businesses including Ma Maison, Pipe Dreams, Simplicity Beauty, Staverton Garden Centre, and TJ Barbers to name just a few. Thank you to each and every one of you who so generously donated!
We also gave a prize away to the best dancer and the best-dressed on the night!
A big thank you to everyone who has ever taken part in any capacity with one of our Barn Dances. To be able to say that we are still hosting this event after all these years is incredible and a massive testament to the fabulous community that we live in.
To our sponsors, Vince Taylor Tofts and The Stores Department , our guests, and those who donate to our raffle, we couldn’t do this without any of you. Thank you!
