We’ve done it again!! Another successful good Friday for the fundraising team at Dawson Hart solicitors as another Charity Easter Egg Hunt goes out with a bang. The Uckfield Community were out on mass last Friday to join in the festivities, and helping us to raise a whopping £2,090 for St Peter and St James Hospice!
The extended Dawson hart family, including partners and families of our team, worked tirelessly in the run-up and on the day to make it the success it was, whether through baking delicious cakes for the tea and refreshments stall, running a stall on the day, or gathering up teddies and toys for our tombolas. We are so grateful to have such a community-oriented team backing us up along the way.
We must also show our thanks to our fabulous sponsors, The Stores Ltd and Peter Oliver Homes. Thanks to their contributions of wheelbarrow-fulls of Easter eggs, we made sure that every egg-hunter was rewarded for their efforts running around our Easter Bunny’s carefully laid trail.
The local community spirit was exemplified also by the A2Z events company, who yet again were out on mass, led by our fantastic Compere, Alex Butcher, and the Pheonix Health Hub, who were offering free spine checks and donations to our cause for every person they saw, and are responsible for £121 of our total. We felt truly lucky to have such a team behind us!
