As I come to the end of my training seat in the Property Department, I have been reflecting on what has been a fast paced and rewarding learning experience. The past nine months have given me the opportunity to grow in confidence, develop practical skills, and gain a clear understanding of how property transactions progress from instruction to completion.
Being able to do both commercial and residential property work has provided a great firsthand insight into what I am learning within my SQE studies and how this aligns in practice. The pace of the department, whilst being involved at all different stages of a transaction, has taught me the importance of accuracy and consistency at every step, especially in high pressure situations.
As I now prepare to move into the Family Department, I am looking forward to a new challenge and the opportunity to develop a different set of skills. Taking forward what I have learned from my time in both the Litigation & Personal Injury and Property teams, I am excited to begin the next stage of my training and continue developing within the firm.
