What a truly wonderful day we had on Good Friday at the Uckfield Rugby Club Hempstead Fields at our Charity Easter Egg Hunt raising money for the Uckfield Foodbank
As we have not been able to hold our annual Easter Egg Hunt since 2019 it made it even more special that the Easter Bunny could join us and that the weather was on our side! The charity fundraising team at Dawson Hart all agreed that seeing so many children and families laughing and having fun made it that much more special and on top of that we have raised a terrific £1,600 for the Uckfield Foodbank.
The children were spoilt for choice and enjoyed trying their luck on the toy and teddy tombola’s, being creative at our craft stall, having their face painted and everyone loved trying to guess the name of the beautiful toy Giraffe! We also had the most incredible freshly baked delicious cakes and a mouth-watering BBQ!
None of this would be possible if it wasn’t for the help of the Uckfield Rugby Club who let us host the event at their wonderful club and who gave up their Good Friday to help us! We would also like to thank Owen Badman and Nick Gulliver of Peter Oliver Estate agents and Ben Mitchell of The Stores department who sponsored this event. Thanks go to Alex Butcher of AGB Events Ltd who helped with the smooth running of the day and Maria from Happy Faces FAce Paingint Working with local businesses and being part of this wonderful community is so important to us!
For our next fundrasing events we have a team competing in the Hailsham Fun Run on Sunday 21st May and we are also holding a cyctholon in Tescos in Uckfield on Friday 2nd May so we hope you will be able to support us!
